Itinerary Below
Day 1 – Arrival in Nairobi & Cultural City Tour
Morning arrival in Nairobi. Check in, rest briefly, enjoy breakfast in the city, visit the Giraffe Centre and local craft markets, dinner at the carnivore restaurant and overnight in Nairobi.
Day 2 – Adventure in Sagana
Breakfast at the hotel, then drive to Sagana (Rapids Camp) for an action-packed day: rafting, zipline, waterfall challenge, and a guided forest walk. Lunch at the camp, followed by a hike with serene views and overnight in Nairobi.
Day 3 – Journey to Maasai Mara & Sunset Walk
Breakfast at the hotel then depart for Maasai Mara (approx. 6 hrs). Arrive at Talek Bush Camp, rest and have lunch, then a guided afternoon walking/sunset safari inside the reserve. Evening Maasai dance and bonfire; dinner and overnight at Talek Bush Camp.
Day 4 – Full-Day Safari in Maasai Mara
Early morning departure for a full-day game drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve. 5:00 am. Breakfast inside the reserve with outstanding views, picnic lunch in the park. Excellent chances to see lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras and more. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 5 – Journey to Naivasha & Boat Safari
After breakfast at the camp, depart Maasai Mara and enjoy a scenic drive to Lake Naivasha with a stop along the way. Check in at the lakeside camp and enjoy lunch overlooking the lake. In the afternoon, head out for a boat safari to spot hippos, fish eagles, and a variety of water birds. Return to camp for dinner and overnight by the lake.
Day 6 – Crescent Island & Hell’s Gate National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a boat ride to Crescent Island and spend time exploring the island among free-roaming wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, buffalo, impalas, and waterbucks. Return to camp for lunch overlooking the lake. In the afternoon, head to Hell’s Gate National Park for guided cycling, hiking, and a gorge walk through dramatic landscapes. Spot wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, buffalo, and baboons along the way. Dinner and overnight by the lake.
Day 7 – Return to Nairobi & Departure
Breakfast at the lakeside camp, followed by check-out from the rooms at 10:30 AM. Enjoy some free time around the camp, taking in the serene lake views and beautiful surroundings before departing for Nairobi in the afternoon. Dinner at one of Nairobi’s beautiful restaurants. Free time for souvenir shopping, visiting supermarkets, and exploring the city at a relaxed pace. Brief stop at a Nairobi hotel reception to freshen up, use the washrooms, and organize luggage before transferring to the airport for international departure at 1:00 AM (flight around 5:50 AM).

Itinerary Below
Day 1 – Arrival, Lake Elmenteita & Naivasha
Morning arrival in Nairobi followed by transfer to Elsamere Lodge in Naivasha and check-in. In the afternoon, we will visit Lake Elmenteita for bird photography, focusing on flamingos, pelicans, and other Rift Valley species. Optional boat safari on Lake Naivasha depending on available time. Dinner and overnight at Elsamere Lodge.
Day 2 – Lake Nakuru Photographic Safari
Early morning departure from the Lodge for a full-day photographic safari in Lake Nakuru National Park. We will focus on birdlife, rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, and other wildlife while exploring one of Kenya’s most renowned photography destinations. Return to the Lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 – Transfer to Maasai Mara
Departure from Naivasha to the Maasai Mara, a scenic drive of approximately five to six hours with short stops along the way. Upon arrival at Talek Bush Camp, we will check in and enjoy lunch before taking some time to settle into camp. Later in the afternoon, we will take a sunset walk around the camp area, becoming familiar with the landscape and atmosphere of the Mara before the photographic safaris begin. Dinner and overnight at Talek Bush Camp.
Day 3–6 – Photographic Safaris in Maasai Mara
Early mornings before sunrise with light tea or coffee, followed by photographic safaris during the peak of the Great Migration. Focus will be on wildlife behavior, predator activity, and migration movements, guided by the herds rather than fixed routes. Full-day safaris with picnic lunches in the reserve allow extended time in the field to capture hunts, crossings, and other spontaneous wildlife moments. Afternoons and evenings will focus on golden hour and sunset photography, returning to camp for dinner and rest. Each day adapts to animal movement, maximizing opportunities to document the extraordinary migration in action.
Day 7 – Final Morning & Departure ✈
Enjoy the morning to capture any last wildlife moments around the camp and pack before transfer to Nairobi. If time permits, stop at a local market for souvenirs before airport drop-off and onward flights.
